These Terms of Use apply to Video Downloader, developed and operated by SEANGKRU SRENG under the developer name seangkru. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. App purpose

Video Downloader provides a built-in browser, permitted media saving, download management, local playback, bookmarks, browsing history controls, and a private local vault. The app is intended for lawful personal offline access where permitted by websites, content owners, and applicable law.

2. User responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the app. You may only save, download, store, play, move, or share content that you own, created yourself, or have permission to use.

You must comply with all applicable laws, copyright rules, website terms, platform rules, content-owner restrictions, and third-party rights.

3. Copyright and intellectual property

You must not use the app to infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of any person or organization. The app does not grant you ownership or permission over any content found on third-party websites.

You must not use the app to download, copy, store, distribute, repost, sell, or share copyrighted content without proper authorization.

4. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the app for any of the following:

• Downloading, copying, storing, distributing, or sharing copyrighted content without authorization.
• Bypassing digital rights management, paywalls, access controls, login restrictions, encryption, or website protection mechanisms.
• Saving or distributing illegal, harmful, abusive, exploitative, non-consensual, or privacy-violating content.

5. Website restrictions

Some websites may block downloads, change media delivery methods, remove content, require login, or prohibit downloading through their terms. Video Downloader does not guarantee that any website, page, media file, stream, or download will work.

6. No affiliation with third-party platforms

Video Downloader is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any social media, video, streaming, or content platform. All third-party names, websites, trademarks, logos, and services belong to their respective owners.

7. Third-party websites and content

The app may allow you to open third-party websites through the built-in browser. Those websites have their own terms, privacy policies, content rules, cookies, tracking technologies, and restrictions. The developer does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, practices, or policies.

8. Downloads and local files

Downloaded files are controlled by the user. You are responsible for checking whether a file may legally be saved, stored, viewed, moved, or shared. You are also responsible for deleting files that you no longer have permission to keep.

9. Private vault

The private vault is a local device feature intended to help users manage selected local files. It is not a legal shield and must not be used to store illegal, unauthorized, or harmful content. The user remains fully responsible for all vault content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for user misuse, unauthorized downloading, third-party website behavior, copyright violations, loss of files, loss of data, device issues, app interruptions, website restrictions, legal consequences, or damages arising from use of the app.

14. Updates and changes

The developer may update, modify, suspend, or remove app features at any time to improve functionality, security, compliance, or reliability. These Terms may also be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

15. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. The developer may restrict, suspend, or discontinue the app or specific features if required for legal, security, technical, or policy reasons.

16. Governing compliance

You are responsible for complying with laws and rules that apply to you in your country or region. If a use is not permitted by law, website terms, or content-owner permission, you must not use the app for that use.
